Kitchen Confessions #6 : Interview With Kyle Christopher
We are back in the kitchen, and today, I am revealing couple of secret confessions with this amazing guy, Kyle Christopher! Yes! Kyle was pleasent enough to accept my invitation for the short interview and here`s what he had to say:
C: "Hello Kyle, I am honored to have you as my 6th “Kitchen Confessions” special guesthere on “Kurrent Music”! For the opening and before we start on your vocal talents dig,tell me something about you. Where did you grow up, what schools you went to and yourearly years life…"
K: "I grew up in Los Angeles Ca, growing up I went to a fewdifferent schools, cuz I was always getting kicked out..."
C: "You are very very long time active in the music business… Been singing with cats like Chrishan and Katy Perry(“Wavelenght”), Frank Ocean (“Let Me”) and slamming the club banger “Ima Get It In”feat. Rich Boy, not to mention Zendaya`s “Something New” featuring Chris Brown andwriting for Litte Mix…. And then you went missing for a while… What happened there?"
K: "I took a break and started doing alot more songwriting for artist."
C: "As a top-notch singer, you also rock the lyrics and production… Where do you findyourself most relaxed in?"
K: "I would have to say honestly my crib/studio..."
C: "Great start of the comeback with “Getting Started”... Really showing the big differenceand growth in your creative process as an artist… But my first drop of your new workwas mindblowingpersonal jam “What it Feels Like”... I mean the singing, theproduction…. A complete soul pleasure. Can you please elaborate some more on thatproject?"
K: "I dropped “Gettin Started” to kinda get people use to hearing my voiceagain since Ive been know for more urban leaning stuff, I kinda wanted to easethem into my artistry and new sound."
C: "And my second best “Know Better” just keeps me stuck addicted to your music. Tell mesomething about that enigma? Is there any “she” in your life now?"
K: "That song was reallyfor women out here tryna find themselves.. right now im just living."
C: "Who would you like to work on the next new stuff, album or single?"
K: "I have a partner hegoes by the name Chasingcities right now we just keep everything really in house atthis stage, Theres a few ppl I would like to work/Collab with but I will always keepthings in house for the most part."
C: "Who is your favorite up and 2016 up and commer?"
K: "Theres alot of great music outthere and I listen to every genre so I coulndnt just pick one."
C: "What comes first aside from music? Can those two ever be split?"
K: "Family".
C: "Writing for yourself and others, any difference?"
K: "Big Difference esp if your in thesame lane as the artist u have to find a balance of creating something dope and notgiving your sound away."
C: "What are the hotspots of your inspirations?"
K: "Inspiration comes from everywhere, Iread alot umm I go out and live life I go through new situations and experiencesevery day so I always have something to pull from to write about."
C: "“Warner Chappell” is doing some great work so far with your career. And you also haveyour own company “7World Entertainment”. What are your goals there?"
K: "[Myself andChasingcities started that company the goal here is to house great talent andcreate our own platform to release dope content and impact things culturly."
C: "For the closure, a few words on the future plans, can we anxiously hope on theexpectation of an album project soon?"
K: "Right now im working on more music theresgonna be some visuals for you real soon and def a project on the way."
