San Diego R`n`B/Soul singler Ryan Drews comes back with a new studio project in his possesion, and talking about first impressions, he really kept it one hundred percent top quality. Born Los Angeles star, still not quite familiar to the wide public, but judging by his two big projects so far, you truly can sense the passion behind his every word, and can hear the vocal potential he posseses. He pushed himself hard enough to come to this pretty impressive R`n`B craft, the second music album named "Whiskey Love".
With the notable background of debut "Satisfied", a two year older brother, "Whiskey Love" screams romantic, it resides in this soft slow notes and this faded mood that controls the entire album. The album`s premiere happened yesterday, Ryan uploaded the whole thing on his official Soundcloud, besides the iTune release. But off course, the album is not all classic R`n`B, au contraire, it has the jumping energy of new school R`n`Bass subculture and it matches just right to fit the whole picture.
A 7-track digital, has so many producer features, including artists like BeatsCraze, xXx Productionz, Kid Flash, Trendsetterz, Robin Wesley, and most credited one in my opinion, the amazing MelloTheProducer. Looking on the techincalities, the background vocal layers could maybe have been patched a bit better, but that is also very questionable and subjective thing, so that stays more like my personal glitch of taste. Other than that, the sentimental motion of "Whiskey Love" stays fresh `till the end and continues to be this months R`n`B album recommendation. Jams that stand out are "Whiskey Love", "Can`t Feel It" "Don`t Make Me Beg" and "Workout".
The tenderness of Ryan Drews will drive all you ladies to his parking lot into a relaxing love bar sippin` the best of his aperatifs for a full pleasure of his romantic notes on a clefs.
