After weeks of going back to Harry Styles latest debut album simply titled Harry Styles. Once the first single Sign of the Times was released. It was clear, that Styles would be bringing his own unique flavor of Pop to the masses. Actually, what may have captivated more listeners and already hardcore fans. Was the secretive nature of the debut release. Or it could have been Styles derail from the traditional radio song. Well, what traditional Pop is considered today? No overly dubbed tracks or produced. Instead, Styles brought out every influence the singer has inspired to be. Throwing in Space-age Bowie, some early New York Funk, and the list seems to grow as each listen commences.
Styles has literally grown up in the public eye. Since pre-teen stardom already grabbed its hooks into the vocally inclined singer. Also the former band-mate of One Direction whose popularity skyrocketed beyond international... we are talking about possible 1D records being sent to other planets. Because let's face it, 1D essentially became the number one band on the planet. Nevertheless, Styles found a way to not only distance but, stand alone outside of the crowd.
Growth is the main topic discussed on Styles album. Most likely after touring the world over and over again, a few moments of introspection is needed. Somehow, the singer-songwriter kept his personality intact. As melodic as the debut is, a few tracks step out as the sole spotlight winning tracks. 'From the Dining Table' bears a stapled, young adult sadness. As the track balances between melancholy and want. Overall Styles graces the stage in new colored suits nowadays. Seemingly humble as ever, without losing his sense of humor. Styles plays the performance by entertaining the audience to the utmost degree. However, some are already wondering what will be Styles next step and will he continue to emerge towards iconic standards?
