Twin Peaks is one of my favourite shows of all time, and it's soundtrack is a big reason for this. It only takes a couple of bars of Falling, the show's theme performed by Julee Cruise, for it to take up residence in my head like an evil spirirt named Bob. So naturally I'm pumped for its return in May, a run of 18 episodes that wil apparently wrap up the story for good.
In saying that, I've been burned before by revival shows, most recently by the awful X Files return. Still, its as good a reason as any to dust off a fine piece of music to go along with my damn fine cup of coffee, and some cherry pie. So here is the criminally underrrated "Rockin Back Inside My Heart", perfromed by none other than Julee Cruise.
