The lady that had us drowning in multiple shades of feels with her artful songs like 'Don't let me go', 'Come Raise the Dead', and 'Knocking on Heaven's Door' is known as RAIGN. Stagenamed Raign, Rachel Rabin; a distinguished songer, songwriter, and vocal producer, takes roots in British soil. The London born artist grew up under the shadow of a father who held a musical background, and spent time listening to music and learning to play instruments.

Working as a vocalist and songwriter, in 2009 she self-released a demo in the UK under her full name. By 2010, she was performing original music with a mix of blues, folk, and pop in the Kingston area, at venues such as the Bull's Head. She played her first show in the United States at the Viper Room in Los Angeles, where she performed a one-hour acoustic set with an accompanying guitarist. Also in the early 2010s she played festivals and venues in Leicester, and in 2011 she performed at the Mint in Los Angeles.

Rabin has delivered numerous soul moving songs, and many of her songs have secured running time in several TV shows and series.  In year 2012, Rabin's song 'Goodbye' was played in the series 'Desperate Housewives'. In the following year her well recieved single 'Come raise the dead' was featured in the Vampire Diaries spinoff 'The Originals'. 'Don't Let me go' and 'When it is all over' by Raign were played in the Vampire Diaries.

Rabin has self-described the style of her material as "pop romanticism," and modern influences on her music include acts such as Florence + the Machine. Regardless of their classification, every single piece of music that Rabin has created so far got me falling in love with her work more and more, and I suggest all my readers to check her music out.
