It’s quite amazing to hear music using only voices without no musical instruments. It is more than just singing and belting words in songs with high notes. Pentatonix is a group of 5 individuals, with great talent in singing without any instrumental accompaniment. Though their music consists of cover songs they always make sure they sing it with their own arrangement and keys as well.

As far as the music industry is concerned there has only been a few “A capella” group that has been identified by the mellinials of today. It look so easy when you get to see them perform in their videos or even on live performance, but being able to do vocal riffing, harmony, vocal percussion, beatboxing and hittingthe lowest voice bassline takes a lot of practice and teamwork coordination.

Pentatonix was formed in 2011, and had their smashing record contract with Sony Music right after they won a singing contest in national TV in the US. With the help of having their own Youtube channel, they were able to share their music and talent to the people. They currently have 10.5 million subscribers. One of their most viewed music video is the Daft Punk Tribute medley; it reached 200M views as we speak.

These guys are now on the road and are going worldwide with their label and concert. They are now braver in bringing in to the table of some of their original songs. They are ready to release their new album with a percentage of it are their originals, collaborations were done to make this album a success, surely the fans are excited for a new chapter.Pentatonix represents the pentatonic scale that has five notes which represent each member of the group, their versatility could go a long way than expected.
