I remember watching The X-Factor USA when these two walked onto the stage together. Alex & Sierra were definitely a cute couple as they reached center stage. As usual, with shows like these, the audience waited and listened to the introduction as a little was revealed about them. They had mentioned they were dating and the audience loved it.
They went on to inform what song they were going to sing as a duet and both audience and judges sat patiently as they readied themselves for the beginning of their professional discovery. Their performance was definitely awesome and their noticeable chemistry worked well for them onstage. Their loving relationship had seemed to shine through their expressive duet performance.
Soon enough, after winning The X-Factor show, their debut single "Scarecrow" was released in May 2014. It was evident and without a doubt that these two were going to do well and would definitely be off to a good start. The debut single proved to do well in its first week, selling 30,000 copies. Next, was their debut album, released in July of that same year, It's About Us. Following that album release, two songs "Little Do You Know" (released in July) and "Just Kids" (released in August) were both offered as promotional singles. In that same month of August, "Bumper Cars" was released as a third promotional single. "Here We Go" was released as a fourth promotional single in September.
It seemed like a busy year for the singing duet. It is always a pleasure to watch them perform together. Their sweetness towards each other displays true romance and is genuinely expressive and meaningful. Furthermore, you can definitely hear just how beautiful they sound together. They are both still growing in their career together and definitley show a lot of potential in style and development. We can be sure to be expecting more songs and albums in the near future.
