Running on High

Brooklyn natives MOTHXR not only know how to spell a universally used word to look cool but even their music has a cooling sensation that can ease any hot summer day. 'She Can't Tell' the 9th track on the album Centerfold has cemented a spot within Pop's beating heart. Not to become overly sentimental, MOTHXR know exactly how far to take each decibel to a valley of frequenices to please the listener. Whether it is intentional to heighten the recipients awareness, 'She Can't Tell' can coax any one into slowly moving their bodies. Close your eyes to this track, because here is a band solely dedicated to making music to influence your body's mobility.

Do not be shocked if you even start snapping your fingers in place, get up and whipping out a few moves. Nevertheless when MOTHXR comes out with a song... do not deny that Pop can be an unconventional state of mind. Pop is meant to be catchy but MOTHXR go further beyond the call and transition towards a startling new section of Pop that has yet to be named. 'She Can't Tell' is a small pinch of that unnamed Pop venture, with hints of Funk, Electronic, Hypnotic and otherwise formally unknown beats that may have been invented purely to loose track of time and space of mind. Trust me, MOTHXR is an excellent adventure to travel towards.
