The Pope Just Shutdown 5th Ave. and Announced An Album...

 WTF!

Yep, Pope Francis is dropping an album on November 27. Entitled Wake Up!, the collection of songs (sung in Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese) addresses many of the same issues that Pope Francis came to the U.S. to discuss - peace, environmental issues, compassion. The project was produced by Don Giulio Neroni who has previously worked with John Paul II and Benedict XV.

While not a first for a Pope to record music (think Pope Benedict's Music from the Vatican), it is definitely commendable for modern Pope Francis to release a set of songs in a more modern instrumentation - just another thing to add on to Pope Francis' increasingly progessive agenda.
