Len Seligman Calls Us to Action With New Release Our Time Now

We are currently living in a very turbulent time in history, what with the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the Black Lives Matter Movement. Protests have been taking place across the country and the world, in response to the murder of George Floyd and many other cases of police brutality and systemic racism. Unfortunately, this matter is not new, and is a fight that has been taking place throughout history. With his latest track “Our Turn Now”, Len Seligman pays a tribute to the trailblazing leaders of the battle against discrimination and racial violence in a beautiful, yet powerful way. 

Len Seligman is an award-winning singer-songwriter who wrote “Our Turn Now” after “being moved to tears by a recent pilgrimage to Selma, Alabama, where John Lewis, Jimmie Lee Jackson, and other heroes fought powerfully against oppression by getting into ‘good trouble.’” With his skillful guitar playing and beautiful harmonies, Seligman’s uplifting vocals sing of the change that has been made in the world and the change that still has yet to come. His message is emphasized with the song’s music video that depicts footage of protests from the past and present, as well as photos honoring the brave people who fought for civil rights. Like Len says, it’s our turn now to fight for a better world for all. This track sends a message of hope, one that we could all use today and always.
