Anger Imported From Chile: ANMLS

In the light of recent events, it could be said that the music scene is mostly not interested in confronting with the problems of the Earth. There are random engagements every now and then, which castigate or make fun of the current injustice from an elitistic distance. We are still dealing with the fact that such a discourse is the least favorite for a young artist to take.

Directly from Santiago, the capital of Chile, ANMLS are coming. They are punk/HC, 80s-fueled quartet ready to let it all out and confront their audience with the terror we all live in. From the very first few notes, you will realize that ANMLS are on the trace of Black Flag, Minor Threat, and Eskorbuto.

The complete debut eponymous album is in Spanish, and it's barele 30 minutes long. Most of the songs are approximately 2 minutes in length, which means we are dealing with straight-to-the-point and directly-in-the-head garage-punk and politically engaged hardcore messages. They summarize their attitudes with verse: Contra el abuso contra todos/ Against abuse, against everyone. Mierda represents culmination of dissatisfaction and frustrations. Over cutting, brutal rhythm spreads the growl: La gente come mierda/ People eat shit. It is followed by Odio/Hate.

Gato, Pato, Chichi and Dino will knock your socks off. What is your reaction? Are you gonna continue eating shi*?
