Here I am again with another article about a YouTube artist. I found out about Roomie just like how the rest of the world probably did—from his song Fabulous. He started making songs before, but then a lot of YouTubers saw he was pretty good at this and asked him to make videos for them. He made the song Fabulous for the most subscribed YouTuber PewDiePie. Check it out below.
Roomie’s real name is Joel Berghult and yes, he’s Swedish. He is a singer-songwriter, a multi-instrumentalist, and a music producer. A lot of people criticize him as someone who just uses auto-tune that’s why he sounds good. But don’t most artists use auto-tune too? He really is a talented person even without the auto-tune; he just sees that using it is a lot more fun. Whenever he makes a song, he does the vocals, all the instruments, and the editing. He is also getting good feedback from his videos impersonating other artists.
My favourite thing about him is that a lot of the songs he’s made; make no sense at all! He has a segment called “Comment Songs” where his fans tweet him a word or phrase and he turns it into a song. It’s unbelievable how he can make the phrases “Like if your cry every time” and “Bad advice is bad” into catchy songs. It’s mind-blowing!
Check out his original song.
Subscribe to his channel here. Like I said before, there is so much raw talent on YouTube. Who should I make an article about next? Make sure to stop by the comments.
