Let's dive through top 4 albums by one of the greatest metal bands.

4)Renegades (2000)

When I hear the cover of Minor Threat's In My Eyes, I have tears in my eyes out of pure happiness. It is the most punk song by Rage. Every member seems to have released their creative pulsions on Renegades, a cover album and the last album before they dropped the live album. Zack was here formally and left the band soon after the release of the record. Although I don't know all of the originals, Renegades of Funk, How Could I Just Kill A Man, Maggie's Farm, The Ghost of Tom Joad all sound incredible. Beautiful World is an atypical ballade in which he can hear Zack crying, which is not as awkward as it is interesting. When I was young, I had no idea that this was a cover album.

3)Evil Empire (1996)

Although the chemistry from the debut slowly evaporated, you just need to turn up the bass to the maximum! Period preceding this album was a crossroad for the band - they needed to decide are they going to become Sex Pistols and end the story, or are they going to throw away their egos and disagreements. Tensions were to be felt. Although energetic, Evil Empire is dark and difficult to listen to. Anyhow, you should press play, especially because my all time favorite RATM song - Bulls on Parade.

2)The Battle Of Los Angeles (1999)

My go-to Rage album is also the last stellar Rage album. It is a scream from the beginning til the very last track, with two peaceful intermezzos (Mic Check and Maria). Although Guerilla Radio and Sleep Now In The Fire are instant hits, it is hard to find a single favorite. Yesterday, it was infectious Calm Like A Bomb, today is the sensible Born Of A Broken Man. Omg, that riff..

1)Rage Against The Machine (1992)

Disturbing photograph of a self-immolated Vietnamese soldier is crowning the debut of Rage Against The Machine. This record was a creative explosion made in an interval of only one month. It was during the times while the boys were still meeting each other and the chemistry was all over the place. Zack screams and throws socio-political references to something no one was aware of. But no one cared, because the energy was amazeballs. Punk and funky rhythms combined with the sound of industrial machinery and metal gave the whole world chills. The most dark number of the record Settle For Nothing contains the best suicidal lines I have ever heard in my life.
