Just after the rumor that the music video was not going to be released would reach the fans, the Nicki Minaj and Yo Gotti audiovisual for the song "Rake It Up" is finally here. The colorful video features the rapper who plays "Fuck the Summa Up" out of a house in a suburban neighborhood before seeing Nicki step out of it to head directly across the street.
While Gotti raps the verse and the catchy chorus of the song, Pinkprint artist Nicki Minaj prepares to do an alignment along with other dancers, then twerks while holding onto a rake.
As we watch more scenes of Nicki doing twerking for Gotti as well as for the camera, the scene switches to Rob Kardashian's ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna, who meets up with famous pink Lamborghini competing against Nicki.
"Rake It Up" comes directly from Yo Gotti under the production of Mike Will Made-It for the mixtape "Gotti Made-It" that came out earlier this summer. In the song, Nicki Minaj and Yo Gotti talk about their lifestyles in rap and how to handle fights that may arise in the arena.
Nicki also addresses her problem with Remy Ma; the day before the song came out, Nicki tweeted: "I love that Gotti told you guys what to do and what not to do in the verse of this song. We do not argue in social sites, we just hit our target. "
Meanwhile, Nicki is gearing up to offer fans her fourth studio album, which is followed by her Pinkprint album released in 2014. In a recent interview, she said she is looking forward to seeing her fans' reactions to the new project, and is their "best body of work".
The official video of the song "Rake It Up" is already available by the official account of Yo Gotti on YouTube.
