The Brazilian trio Tribalistas, a worldwide music phenomenon in the early 2000s, today released the second album of its history, 15 years after its successful debut.
The album, without title like the one of 2002, plubicó in platforms musical like Spotify or iTunes with ten subjects. "Discover the new album by the tribalists," wrote the celebrated percussionist Carlinhos Brown, one of the trio members, to announce the launch on their Facebook page.
The group that completes the singer Marisa Monte and the musician and writer Arnaldo Antunes had already presented four tracks of that album unexpectedly two weeks ago ("Alliance", "Diaspora", "Out of memory" and "One"), In a surprise show recorded in a studio in Rio de Janeiro.
"Thanks to all the tribe that accompanied us," wrote Marisa Monte on Facebook to present the new works of the trio, again characterized by the classic mix of pop, jazz, bossa nova and funky with which the group made itself known in 2002.
The three musicians, already successful separately with their works as soloists, presented / displayed then a disc of 20 songs that became a success in all Latin America and that also arrived at Spain and United States, among other countries.
The album won a Latin Grammy in 2003. Tribalistas never gave many concerts and the three members reunited only in the last months to relaunch their successful collaboration.
