The Dominican bachatero Romeo Santos told today that along with legendary Spanish singer Julio Iglesias recorded a song titled "My friend", dedicated to the penis, which is included in his latest album, "Golden."
In a press conference on his arrival in San Juan, where he signs autographs to his followers at a shopping center in the Puerto Rican capital, Santos recalled - in order to emphasize the Spanish accent - that Iglesias contacted him first so that he could participate alongside him in a disc Of duets.
Although Santos told Iglesias that "it would be an honor" to collaborate in this production of the Spanish singer, the bachatero proposed to him better to record an unpublished subject of his and in bachata, "the friend".
"Let's do it," he told the media, adding that it has been an honor to have his participation.
"The song has something subliminal, it is not friendship," admitted Santos.
At one point in the process, Santos recounted that he traveled to Marbella where the voices of Iglesias were recorded, and later Santos moved to New York.
When he was there, Iglesias called him and asked him if "That song you wrote is a song to the dick (penis)? ... You are a genius."
"I felt flattered, it's a theme that is never going to be vulgar, but it's also something that you have to agree with," said Santos, former member of the Aventura group.
"He has been my ally, he accompanies me, he is my faithful friend," says the words of the song, in which they also sing that he is "ardent, imperative, adventurous ... a buddy in my desires" or States that it is "efficient" and "parrandero".
The collaboration of Iglesias is one of several that are included in the disc "Golden".
The others are with Daddy Yankee, Nicky Jam, Juan Luis Guerra, Ozuna, Swizz Beatz and Jessie Reyez.
