First collaboration between Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar

As you could see in the title, Kendrick's first song with Rihanna is already here. The song is titled "LOYALTY", which was released on April 14 under the musical production of Anthony Tiffith, Terrace Martin, Sounwave and DJ Dahi.

DJ Dahi has become one of Kendrick's most popular producers. He has produced and co-produced old hits by Kendrick, such as "The Heart Part 4", "Deep Water", "Babylon" and "Money Tree".

In "LOYALTY", Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna reflect on the value and need for complete loyalty and honesty in both platonic and romantic relationships. In the end, Rihanna specifically refers to the struggle or how difficult it can be to remain humble in success.

It could be said that this song was also created under the inspiration of other songs. The chorus was inspired a little bit in the subject of Jay Z "Get Your Mind Right Mami", while Rihanna borrows the phrase "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" from ODB in the third verse

This new single also counts as the sixth on the list of songs from Kendrick Lamar's latest album released this year, titled "DAMN." Who would say that these two artists would join in a song, apparently the music industry is changing for the better.
