Fans of the band Linkin Park are in mourning after hearing the news of the suicide of singer Chester Bennington on July 20. Local sources said the 41-year-old singer was hanged in his dorm room at Palos Verdes in Los Angeles and the body was discovered at 9 AM local time.
The event took the world of rock by surprise and many artists have already expressed their condolences. Bennigton was married and had 6 children with different wives. Although the reasons for the suicide are still unclear, he is presumed to be struggling with a depressive mood following the death of his best friend Chris Cornell on May 18. This statement arises because on that day of his death, it is the same in which the legendary singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave would be celebrating years.
In the past, the musician had commented on the possibility of suicide because as a child was abused by an older man.
