Zignia Live, an entertainment company, informed through its official Facebook page that the renowned American singer canceled the events scheduled for July 18 and 19, in Monterrey, due to unforeseen circumstances.
American singer Ariana Grande canceled two concerts she would offer in the Mexican city of Monterrey, located north of Mexico, company Zignia Live reported on Tuesday.
"Zignia Live and Ariana Grande regret to inform that the concerts scheduled for July 18 and 19 at the Arena Monterrey have been canceled, due to unforeseen circumstances of the singer," was reported on the official website of the company of shows .
Monterrey is one of the cities affected by violence derived from drug trafficking, but the statement did not mention whether the insecurity is part of the reasons for canceling the concert.
On May 22 last a kamikaze was popped out of a Grande concert in the British city of Manchester, leaving 22 dead, including seven minors, and more than a hundred wounded.
The attack was claimed by the Islamic State.
Since then, the concerts of the American have been carried out under strict security measures.
