Tool is one of the most important progressive metal bands today. Her 27 years as a group have turned her into a cult band thanks to the quality of her musical compositions and the artistic creativity of her audiovisual proposals. Currently Californian band does not produce a disc from " 10,000 Days" in 2006, which generates much expectation to know if soon a new album will come out. Concerning this subject, Justin Chancello, bass player of the grouping has spoken.
In a recent interview offered to Metal Sucks, the bassist stated that the band will not publish the album this years, but that nevertheless, they have 90% of the compositions ready of the next disc, reason why soon they will begin to record. " We are about 90% ... You know, it has been like a crazy scientific project ... We have been very demanding with what we want to put on this new album and we really want to come up with something really unique. In addition we have immersed ourselves in a bestial quantity of material, reason why the process ... has been a little different to the boarded the last time "
"It's really an evolving issue . The last couple of weeks, being on the road and playing together this year, has taken us to a new level, I would say. We are really excited to be around each other. We'll do it when we get home. We are ready to make the album. " It is possible then that the next disc is published between 2017 and 2018.
