If you ask me what has been the most resonant song in my head this weekend, without hesitation I answer: "Everything Now" from Arcade Fire. That band, has the wonder of hooking me from the first moment that heard something unknown.
It happened in 2011, when I clicked on the recommendation of a Facebook contact who recommended listening to a song from the Canadian group. It was "Une Année Sans Lumiere". Since then, it became in those bands that you know that the discs that have been released so far, without disappointment, will last a lifetime. The same has happened to me with the Beatles, Soda Stereo or Radiohead.
Are there discs without waste? Yes, they are those who seek, listen and not only excite you with the same intensity of five or twenty years ago, but also accompany you, feel close, as if it were composed for you, as a gift or a confession.
Last week they released "Everything Now" from the album that will be published soon. Striking, sticky. So it is this jewel that already allows to augur good work. I was fortunate to see them in Argentina in 2014, a concert beauty that marveled all those who, regardless of the hours of trot, stood in front of that stage that for almost two hours became a machine of happiness.
In addition, the single has a good video directed by The Sacred Egg, the same ones that have done audiovisual works for Lily Allen and Royal Blood.
