The Koala is a rustic Spanish rock band that has a wide musical trajectory. Its leader is a personage of the field of Andalusia and its songs represent the daily life of the rural Spain. If you do not know it, it's time to do it through your music and your videos.

The rustic Spanish rock has its main representative band called El Koala. The band led by Manuel Jesus Rodríguez Rodríguez, born in the rurality of Rincón de la Victoria in Malaga in 1969. Since 2001 he changed his stage name to El Koala and has since produced five studio albums.

Koala has musical influences in the Spanish rock bands like Barón Rojo, Los Suaves, Extremoduro, Seguridad Social and Loquillo, besides acquiring flamenco, Caribbean and hip hop rhythms. Although their melodies and harmonies are sticky and with fun and original lyrics that reflect the rural reality of southern Spain, their songs represent a great artistic level and the peculiarity of the singer's image is very striking, far from the models of the stars of pop- rock.

The foray into Rodriguez's music began in 1986 when he formed a punk-rock band called "Santos Putos". After dubbing several groups, he decided to create his own band in 1992 when he formed the group "Los Ducati" and was known as "Jesus Ducati". The band was united until 2000. After its rupture formed "The Koala".

His discs are: Rustic backbone rock (2006), "Dumb the wheat returns" (2007), The Country beat "(2011), Cancioncillas Nillas (2014) and recently published" El baile de las papas " ). His first album managed to position itself as one of the most sold in Spain at the time of its release, achieving more than 40,000 copies sold, which earned him "gold record".
