The rustic Spanish rock has its main representative band called El Koala. The band led by Manuel Jesus Rodríguez Rodríguez, born in the rurality of Rincón de la Victoria in Malaga in 1969. Since 2001 he changed his stage name to El Koala and has since produced five studio albums.
Koala has musical influences in the Spanish rock bands like Barón Rojo, Los Suaves, Extremoduro, Seguridad Social and Loquillo, besides acquiring flamenco, Caribbean and hip hop rhythms.
