On the morning of May 22, American singer Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, better known as Lana Del Rey, released the official video for the song "Lust For Life," which features the vocal collaboration of Canadian singer The Weeknd. This song refers to a suicide occurred in the letter H of the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, California.
"Lust For Life" captures the essence of Lana and Abel's will to live. The moments when the two are doing what they love, with those they love, remind them that life is worth it. In true Lana style, the song attacks the pantry of American pop culture, even referring to Iggy, groups of girls of the 60s and even Billy Joel.
The song was produced by Kieron Menzies, Lana Del Rey, Dean Reid and Rick Nowels; And officially released on April 19, 2017. It is the first song written for her eponymous album, this marks the fourth collaboration of Lana and The Weeknd after "Prisoner", "Party Monster" and "Stargirl Interlude".
