The musical band Molotov denounced today the theft of its instruments and equipment of work in a highway of the State of Mexico when it was taken for a concert in Morelia, capital of the western state of Michoacán.

"Today we were victims of crime and organized crime that every day strikes our country," Molotov said on Twitter, which reported that for this reason his concert tonight at the Morelia Fair should be postponed to The 22 of May.

Authors of songs like "Gimme the power", "Frijolero" and "Voto Latino", Molotov was formed in 1995 by Micky Huidobro, Ismael Fuentes, Randy Ebrigth and Francisco Ayala.

The truck that carried Molotov's instruments and equipment was intercepted Wednesday near Ixtlahuaca, a municipality in the State of Mexico, by a convoy of men carrying long arms, the band said.

"With luxury of violence, the driver and 3 of his co-workers were brutally beaten and thrown to their fate on the road," he denounced.

They explained that in the cargo truck were carrying bass, guitars, drums, audio consoles, amplifiers and equipment indispensable to make a concert.
