Bob Marley died on May 11, 1981 after losing the battle against a cancer that was diagnosed in September of 1980 when on tour, he fainted in full concert. At that time he just released his album "Uprising". The burial took place in Jamaica with honors from the President of the country.
From a young age he found in his music his passion for life, eventually founding the mythical band The Wailer and becoming the main figure of reggae, rhythm and blues, soul, rock and Jamaican folk rhythms. It is his short life, managed to compose 18 studio album and leaving a musical legacy that lasts in time.
