The English band Slowdive has just released their new album "Slowdive" after more than 22 years of record absence and will be released in digital version, CD and vinyl. The band that was away from the stages during those years, met in 2014 to re-stimulate nostalgia and memory through their live performances. Months ago they had officially released the advances "Star Roving and" Sugar for the Pill "and in the next months they will be touring the American continent.

"We are very surprised and we love the interest that still exists for the band.In the last tour we did there were parents with their children and children of 15. Musically the album is more pop, with approaches in some songs to the music of John Cage or Philip Glass The five of us think it's a very solid record and we love it, " says drummer Simon Scott.

The original band from Reading was formed in 1989 and has since been a benchmark for alternative music, specifically the genre Shoegaze. His first EP came out in 1990 and was called "Slowdive". A year later, they released their first studio album, entitled "Just for a day". In 1993 they released two EPs "5 EP" and "Outside your room" and a disc "Souvlaki". Achieving its worldwide consecration. The last album they released was "Pygmalion" in 1995 and they split when Savill and Chaplin left the band, while the other members formed Mojave3.
