The past 2016 was remembered for being the year in which the festival was supendió of the new bands of that year for the first time in more than 15 years of trajectory, all this thanks to the critical situation in social-economic level that Venezuela lives in this moment , however, the Nuevas Bands foundation, has decided to give green light for the festival this year.
Through the Instagram account of the foundation, it was announced that the groups that want to participate in this event, will have the opportunity to register as of May 1, through the Cusica website, who have been in charge of this plan during 3 consecutive years.
While it is difficult at the moment, brands support musical events because of the economic situation, there are still companies and brands that rely on national talent and faithfully support. In this case, the new bands foundation has the alliance of @cusicavzla, @AreaFlips, @CulturaChacao and @ LaMega107.
Although no more details have been given regarding this year's festival, it is expected to be held at the Chacao Cultural Center, as in previous years.
