Just one day after announcing it would launch a new album, former Pink Floyd, Roger Waters he released the first single was titled "Smell The Roses" with a sound rather like the work of Pink Floyd in the late 70's. Waters's new album will be called This Is the Life We Really Want? Which it is the first since the publication of Amused To Death 1992 and has production of Nigel Godrich best known for his work with Radiohead.

Waters says about the album:

"I will highlight that we are living the life you really do not want to live. I like to believe that people still like to still live in a world where we treat problems of climate change, where we understand that if we empathize with others would make us happier Maybe we should start looking for happiness in interacting rather than in who wins or loses. And if we do that then we could maybe understand that "they" and "us" is just an illusion. "

Here "Smell The Roses" and the tracklist of This Is the Life We Really Want? which will be released on June 2:

01. "When We Were Young" 02. "Déjà Vu" 03. "The Last Refugee" 04. "Picture That" 05. "Broken Bones" 06. "This Is The Life We Really Want?" 07. "Bird In A Gale" 08. "The Most Beautiful Girl" 09. "Smell The Roses." 10 "Wait For Her." 11 "Oceans Apart" 12. "Part Of Me Died"
