Harvard University gave the urban music singer Rihana a distinction in recognition of his work for the defense of Human Rights.
The singer received the award Tuesday at a ceremony in which he joked about his time at university. "Now I have achieved it get to Harvard (...) I never thought I'd say this, but what feeling so good," he said.
Rihanna, 29, has made numerous donations for the construction of an oncology and nuclear medicine in Bridgetown, in his native Barbados, for diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. In addition, the Harvard team recognized the scholarship program for students Rihanna Caribbean region.
