Born in 1985 and educated at Harvard, American Justin Hurwitz won the Oscar statuette for Best Soundtrack, held for no less winning film "La La Land".
We have already discussed the vitality and freshness of the music of this film, but now let us approach a little more the author's own Hurwitz, because, no doubt, is someone we can not lose sight. First, because last year showed with "Whiplash" also by Damien Chazelle, all that music (and the world around it) can mean.
The young Hurwitz is not only a musician, but is also a writer. He is the son of a writer, Ken Hurwitz, and a dancer, Gail Hurwitz; and he met Damien while they studied together at Harvard, while they shared musical life in a band.
These facts give us assume that in the future this successful duo will give us more movies (hope so) in which music star in essence and form part of the story. And if "Whiplash" was the leading drama in "La La Land" were the dreams ... that can come true.
