February 26 is the date set for the delivery of the Academy Awards that will be held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, space that will house the best of the film industry with 89 Oscars Awards. The event will feature comedian Jimmy Kimmel and it will feature several musical artists that were revealed a few days ago.
Officially, it was learned that Justin Timberlake, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sting and John Legend have been confirmed to sing in the ceremony. Lin-Manuel Miranda will perform with Auli'i Cravalho "How Far I'll Go" from the Disney movie "Moana", nominated for an Oscar for best original song. On the other hand, Justin Timberlake will perform the hit "Can not Stop The Feeling" from the animated film "Trolls", nominated in the same category. Sting sing "The Empty Chair Jim: The James Foley Story" and John Legend "Audition (The Fools Who Dream)" and "City of Stars" of "La La Land". In a few awards in the film "La La Land" is the feeling by getting 14 nominations and won seven Golden Globes.
"We are delighted to welcome these artists first Oscar , " said producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd said in a statement. "These actions not only will celebrate five outstanding original songs nominated, but also an integral part of the music played in the movies".
