Arcade Fire is the only band that has won its first and only Grammy Award for best album of the year in history. That did it in 2008 with his first album "Funeral" and since then his music has greatly improved, allowing them to participate in various projects such as bringing a film to the cinema in 2014 that consisted of concert footage, interviews and behind camera performing his latest album Reflektor. Now, the band has just finished recording the songs for his new album, but still has no name or release date.
The information could be known by the drummer Jeremy Gara statements for the magazine NME: "We know that we are a popular band, but we have always remained rooted to the same rule: do not record until you feel that the music is ready." The statements confirmed the words of Will Butler when last June had said that next summer their fans could have their new album.
Gara also said that the band finished recording all the songs and the album "should come out this year." Now comes the post-production process, because even the band does not know how many or what the songs that compose their fifth album will be, as they recorded more than they had thought.
On the other hand, he added that just get the album, the band wants to tour two years promoting it and start from April and end in 2019.
The band consists of Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, husband and wife, William Butler, Win brother, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara. It was formed in 2001 in Montreal Canada.
