The biggest reggaeton time was lived between the late 90s and early 2000, where the maximum exponent at the time, Hector "El Father", led to stardom William Omar Landrón (Don Omar). Topics such as "Ronca", "Hamlet" and "Love School" were the most talked about in Puerto Rican radio.
Last Wednesday, the reggaetonero told EFE that he had reconciled with Hector Delgado ( "El Father"), who is now retired from the music industry and is pastor of a church. Years ago, both artists were not only the highlights of the urban genre, but also had an alleged link with the drug trafficker Angel Ayala Vazquez, alias "Buster" and who the singers mentioned in their songs.
And with the passage of time, Don Omar and Hector "El Father" began to have differences, which led to a "lyrical war" or "tiraera". These were very strong verbal attacks between the two sides. However, as for 2008, "El Father" announced his retirement from the music to start his life as an evangelical pastor, mission still holds.
"The change that God has made with Hector has been higher proportion than I thought , " said Don Omar who is working on his new album, "The secret society".
"What we can not cover is Hector and I were great friends. The sense of guilt for being good men and evil emptied take us and feel with little love , " he added "King of Reggaeton".
