My favorite albums by Venezuelan artists published in 2016

1. Metamorphosis - Iran

An endearing album, serenity, joy and good wishes. Luis Iran achieves a work that invites the union and rooting through the family. In moments of madness and Communist outrages, the composer's work delineates a shelter in increasingly adverse moments.

2. Mother 's love - Wincho Schäfer

Wincho is responsible for several jewels of Venezuelan rock. With Atkinson left two discs that is always good to be back. Now, as a solo artist, she presents her second album, with a more intimate sound, which without virtuosity, seek peace after so much frustration. It is an album of thanks, hope and comebacks.

3. syncopated Steps - Small Revancha

I reiterate what was written a few months ago: This album is an upbeat song that does not negate fears. It is a good reflection of three years of uncertainty and yet the desire to move forward in an increasingly rarefied context and vile for artists moments. It is to promote, but also prepare for the worst.

4. Trippy Caribbean - Rawayana

Contagious from the first song. There is no topic that is not sticky, direct and festive. A disk spanning, well accomplished way, genres like soca, reggae and even the bolero.

5. Tomates Fritos - Fritos Tomates

The disc duality between the typical sound of the anzoatiguense grouping and experimentation with electronic. Music used to some letters that imagine new beginnings after overcoming frustrations. They are letters of longing, despair and confidence in the future, the desire for posterity.

6. War crimes - Boston Rex

The singer relief Tomates Fritos, a job in expressing the deepest anguish of the artist: death, separation and asphyxiating country. A great composer's solo debut, full of arpeggios and simplicity that enhances and beautifies.

8. The illustrated tuyero - Edward Ramirez & Rafa Pino

Joropo tuyero done in Caracas. Both musicians recorded an album without misrepresenting the genre, jazz genres like pop with faint hints of strain. They underline that form a sarcastic lyrics about life in tyranny, romance, heartbreak and routine of city dwellers.

9. Dancing on the ruins - Public Disorder

pleasant, direct, funny and thoughtful about the Venezuelan ideology disc and the current crisis. It can be interpreted as an instruction manual for emotional after the disaster. Pass it through a good album that despite some exceptions, holds the most characteristic of the group, both in letter and in the music of Horacio Blanco.

10. Laura Guevara - Laura Guevara

Finally the singer released his first studio album. A production full of confidence, honesty and joy, despite despite some issues. Laura has grown over the years and this album captures a stage that is his letter to international stardom.

11. The train returns - Yordano and various artists

An album that brings together singers like Franco De Vita, Carlos Vives, Ricardo Montaner and Los Amigos Invisibles for versioning to Yordano. Each theme, with just two exceptions, manages to be a gem. Exciting and relevant, as it was published the same year in which Yordano returned to the stage after overcoming cancer.

12. Radiocassette - Vargas

The brash made a good album, with lyrics inspired by the uncouth, dirty sounds that convey deep feelings of spite and own introspection.

13. T .ODO - Octavio Suñé

Nostalgia, sadness, introspection and acceptance of guilt. That this disc Octavio Suñé, which are obvious influences on southern rock singer is.
