They say the great singers die on stage. And so it happened to Memo Morales who died at dawn on January 1 when he sang at a concert New Year's Eve in the Galician Brotherhood in Caracas.
The marabino singer who was 79, suffered a heart attack while singing on stage, interrupting the show altogether. A soon he was treated and taken to a health center but arrived dead. Now the holidays lose a great bastion of Venezuelan music.
