Charlie was discharged!

Argentine rock musician Charly Garcia, 65, was discharged from hospital Saturday after spending three days in hospital for a medical checkup by high fever and dehydration he suffered days earlier.

"Charly's at home, thanks for your concern, keep them aware, is happy with their loved ones," she revealed producer, José Palazzo in a message posted on his account of the social network Twitter. The artist had been admitted on Wednesday at a medical center in Buenos Aires for a medical checkup agreed last week, when he was in the hospital after suffering a high fever and dehydration performed.

Garcia was hospitalized several times in recent years due to his poor health, the last time earlier this year, when he had to be operated hip. The iconic musician suffered a preinfarction in November 2013 before a concert in Bogota.

Earlier, in 2012, the singer collapsed during a concert in Argentina's Cordoba province, and in 2011 had to cancel a performance in Bolivia for colic caused by gallstones.

Born in Buenos Aires on October 23, 1951, Garcia has extensive solo career that includes 41 recording discs. During his prolific career, the artist collected outstanding prizes as the Grammy for Musical Excellence in Las Vegas.
