This past Monday December 19, the Recording Academy announced that by 2017 the singer Nina Simone, Sly Stone and Tue Velvet Underground receive the honorary Grammy for career (Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards) in the scheduled ceremony on February 12 in Los Angeles.
