Diego el Cigala gives salsa a flamenco touch with Indestructible

Diego el Cigala, the flamenco singer who in 2002 entered the world of bolero hand Cuban pianist Bebo Valdes and his album Lágrimas Negras, now returns to explore the rhythms of Latin music with a disc versions one of the most influential genres in the world, the sauce.

It bears the name of Indestructible, referring to the classic theme of Ray Barreto, which is also included in the production. For featured collaborations genre greats such as Venezuelan Oscar D'Leon, known worldwide as the sonero the world; also Larry Harlow, musician and producer of La Fania, one of the original singers of El Gran Combo, Roberto Roena and many others.

Among the classics versioned are two iconic themes Hector Lavoe: "Periodico de Ayer" and "Johnny Vermin" and "The Mouse", originally played by Cheo Feliciano.
