Burns made himself a lifestyle. In fact, according to experts, it was a pioneer of androgynous appearance, to the point that was copied by Boy George, lead singer of Culture Club, who spread the effeminate appearance by the cultural industry.

However, Burns (born August 5, 1959 in Cheschire, England) continued his career with notable success.

In the mournful note it stresses that Burns was "our special star. He was a true visionary, a beautiful and talented soul, and will be missed by all who love and value all that was and all the wonderful memories he has left us."

The musician was married for 27 years with Lynne Corlett until they divorced in 2006, and a year later the singer announced her engagement to her boyfriend Michael Simpson.
