Carreño, Estévez and Ginastera at the Latin American Music Festival

From 23 to 30 October, is held the XIX Latin American Music Festival, which for a week will offer seven concerts, with two symphonic galas.

Symphony Orchestra Francisco de Miranda, directed by Alfredo Rugeles, and the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of César Iván Lara, are the protagonists groups galas, which respectively on Sunday 23 and 30 October will be presented at 11 : 00 am

As for the rest of the concerts, there will be chamber music in small format contemporary music; and especially centenarians tributes to Antonio Estevez, of Venezuela, and Alberto Ginastera of Argentina; as well as Inocente Carreño, who died recently.

These concerts will stage the halls of the National Center of Social Action for Music.
