Acclaimed Mexican band Cafe Tacuba is back. This time with the release of his new single titled "A couple of places", which was released last week through digital platforms and various radio stations.
"A couple of places" also means a preview of the new album that is preparing the band originally from Mexico City. The new cycle of the band is directed by acclaimed Argentine composer Gustavo Santaolalla, who has worked for years.
Ruben Albarran, lead singer of Cafe Tacuba, said: "This is a song about the absence, and how being in those two places, which are the mind with their thoughts and memories, and heart with feelings, we can overcome the pain it causes us. "
Ruben Albarran, Joselo Rangel, Quique Rangel and Emmanuel del Real recorded "a couple of places" in the study Soga Recordings in Jiutepec, Morelos, last July. It was produced by Santaolalla and the experienced American engineer Nathan Mick Guzauski.
