Is Lil Wayne retiring from music?

Lil Wayne has been making headlines since last week after he hinted recently on Twitter that he is contemplating leaving the rap, saying it is "helpless and defeated mentally," presumably this thanks to his battle in legal tender with Birdman due to his label, "Cash Money Records", he refuses to release the latest album of Lil Wayne "the Carter V".

Only a few days after many feared had retired, Lil Wayne released a new item entitled "Grateful" which marks a "new chapter" in his career. In this song, Wayne Birdman called by name to address their legal problems and announce their departure complicated Cash Money Records.

"Grateful" came a few days after a series of tweets Wayne critics were published, which many interpreted as an announcement of retirement. In this particular song, despite the problems with "Cash Money Records" and Birdman, he recognizes what he has accomplished in his life and he could not be more grateful to the people who helped him and gave him opportunities.
