The Latin Recording Academy Award distinguished with the Spanish group Musical Excellence Consortium (Mocedades), Eugenia León Mexican, Argentine Ricardo Montaner, Ednita Nazario Puerto Rican and Italian-Argentine Piero, he reported this entity. The great diva Ednita Nazario Puerto Rico has released more than twenty albums throughout his long career, with a triple platinum album and several Latin Grammy nominations. Born in Italy, the Argentine singer Piero (Piero de Benedictis) has sold over three million records with songs in Italian and Spanish that address the social, economic and spiritual problems, with special attention to the most disadvantaged. At the same ceremony, will receive the Trustees Award Nicaraguan Carlos Mejia Godoy, author of songs like "Are your perjúmenes woman", journalist, critic, lyricist, producer and Brazilian writer Nelson Motta and Dominican Rafael Solano Sánchez, composer songs like "for love", played by Gloria Estefan and Jon Secada, among others.

These names are added to the Puerto Rican artist Marc Anthony, who will be honored that evening with the honorary award Person of the Year 2016 by the Latin Recording Academy.
