The Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City was the venue chosen by the Mexican authorities to make public farewell to singer and songwriter Juan Gabriel. The event will be held a week after the death of this renowned artist, who died of a heart attack last Aug. 28 at his home in Santa Monica, United States, half of its North American concert tour.
According to Mexican media, this musician's ashes will be placed in the main hall of the enclosure, so that their followers can come and bid him farewell. It is expected that the Palace of Fine Arts come thousands of followers and fans of Juan Gabriel, and are chanted his most famous subjects.
Prior to this event, the relatives of the artist also perform a farewell ceremony in Juarez's hometown singer, which made his first compositions and which devoted much of his subjects. This farewell ceremony will take place the weekend.
From the day of the death of John Gabriel, Mexicans have made numerous personal and tributes groups, in places like the Plaza de Garibaldi, in the historic center of Mexico City, where even participated mariachis, and the Palace of Fine Arts itself where the artist held in several of his most memorable concerts life.
