Eric Clapton will release his new album in September

The new album by guitarist, singer and songwriter Eric Clapton British and dated. The album, which was recorded live during a concert by the artist in 2007 in San Diego, United States, will be presented on 30 September.

The news was released by the label in charge of production, while stepped forward to be a double album in which a journey made by the main issues on the musical career of the artist.

In the concert will now be immortalized on the album, the British legend had the collaboration of the American musician JJ Cale, who participated as a guest in five songs, like After Midnight and Cocaine. In addition, it was announced that guitarist Derek Trucks, Robert Cray Doyle Bramhall II and drummer Steve Jordan and also made their contributions in the material.

This new album was announced two months after Clapton published a study titled album Do I still composed of twelve original tracks produced by Glyn Johns.

At 71, Clapton is recognized as one of the most emblematic figures of rock and British blues, which has been repeatedly included by Rolling Stones on the list of the 100 greatest artists of all time.
