The leader of Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder, again make clear his greatness. Beyond his vocal range, ability and impeccable songwriter shows, Vedder highlighted once again by his human side, by interrupting a concert of his band to defend a woman who was being assaulted by another fan.
In the show, when the band played one of his hits "Lukin," Eddie Vedder unexpectedly interrupted the song, stopped singing and struck a fan who was physically molesting a girl in the audience. The accident happened last August 22, during the presentation of Pearl Jam at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
While it could not be clarified what was exactly what was happening, the lead singer of Pearl Jam asked for the safety of the event, who immediately evacuated the man recited. The concert was resumed only after Vedder to ask the woman if she was okay and ensure that everything was in order.
