The record label said the musical icon who continues to give great concerts in the world, was '' currently working on a new album, '' without giving further details.

McCarthet, who in recent years has maintained a busy schedule with tours, announced in an interview last week Rolling Stones might soon need to slow down at work.
When asked whether he could imagine doing tours like those of the 1980s, the legendary singer replied that that would be '' unimaginable ... and inappropriate ''.
His last world tour will end in October at the Desert Trip in California, in a great unique show which will also act Rolling Stone, Bob Dylan, The Who, Neil Young and Roger Waters.
