Grunge is not dead. Many iconic bands like Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden still active and producing new sounds. However, this 2016 will come loaded with more grungre, following the announcement of the tour that will make the supergroup Temple of the dog by the United States.
In 1990, Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron of Soundgarden joined Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready and Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam to form a very important band for growth grunge. The band released one album called "Temple of the dog" and was created in honor of Andrew Wood, lead singer of "Malfunkshun" and "Mother Love Bone" and close friend of the band members, who died in 1991 because of an overdose.
The band will tour officially, being an unprecedented event. " We wanted to do all we could ever do ... play shows and see how it feels to be the band that we moved away 25 years ago , " explains Cornell in a press release .
So far they are only six performances will live, but is not closed the possibility of more. Commemorative way, will be a reissue of the album for next September 30 with new masters, demos, unreleased tracks and a complete remix album made by producer Brendan O'Brien who worked on the album that was released in April 1991 through A & M Records.
"It was an album without stress, made just for the pleasure of it , " said Cornell sometime for Rolling Stone.
The band made surprise appearances in 2003, 2009, 2011 and 2015, always in charity events and concerts tributes performing Pearl Jam or Soundgarden.

The glorious single
The most important song is "Hunger Strike", which has an official video. The song was a duet between Cornell and Vedder, which culminated in the study.
