Nick McCarthy splits with Franz Ferdinand

In a year so full of comebacks, reunions and meetings that strange news this week is the announcement by the British Franz Ferdinand declaring that their particular guitarist Nick McCarthy has momentarily decidico away from the band to spend time with his family.
