They are sisters, are pianists and enjoy sharing scenarios and scores. The Marieva Prisca Dávila and artists decided to meet again their talents and presented Saturday at the Cultural Center BOD in what will be the christening of the second album they have recorded together.
The album, titled Crossing, is composed of recognized subjects of Latin American repertoire, as Lágrimas Negras or day you want me, and recent compositions of pianists, which made a tour of the main musical genres of the continent, and promuevem the merging them with jazz, pop and classical music.
The concert, scheduled for 5:00 pm, will feature individual interpretations of each pianist and also with moments in which the sisters share the piano for the enjoyment of the audience.
The artists will be accompanied by Abelardo Bolaño on drums and Luis Freites on bass, plus guests like Goyo Reyna, with voices, cajón and palms; Leonte Ortega on guitar; his father, Eduardo Dávila, on sax and flute; Eric Chacon on flute, and Luisa Mariana Pantoja The Polish and in flamenco dances.
In the first material produced by both, a piano, two sisters (2014), was titled the sisters included only instrumentals. This time, both contribute their voices in which he will declare a varied and emotional concert.
